Hilda Ruby Stella Hayes (Major)

- 86 years old
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, which occurred at Maria
Hospital on May 18, 2024, at the age of 86 years.
Predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Ervin Major, her brothers Carl, Henry, John, Jules, Alec, sisters Jenny and Joyce.
She leaves behind her beloved daughters Karen (Dan), Diane, grandchildren Rebecca (Kate), Caleb (Anais), Luke (Mary) and Chase,
also great-grandson Logan.
Mom was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her most, offering support, wisdom and love. .Mom was a great
cook, gardener, and lover of pets. She loved watching Dr. Pol and Hope for Wildlife on T.V. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of
the community in Niagara Falls, Ontario and the Gaspe Coast.
Visitations will be held at the Réjean Bélanger Funeral Home in Paspebiac on Thursday, May 30th, 2024. Visiting hours will be from 1-2 pm
with a Celebration Of Life at 2 pm, followed by the burial at the Bayview Cemetery in Hope.
Donations can be made in memory of Hilda Hayes to the CHSLD in New Carlisle.
Family and friends are welcome for refreshments at Hilda's after the burial.

certified Distinction by the corporation des thanatologues du Quebec and by the bureau de normalisation du Quebec.
